Our country is defined as “Water-deficient country” by United Nation, one possible method to solve this problem is save water. Large Caliber water meter is a management system for medium to heavy usage of water. In the past, many problem exist because of the poor technology and manual operation.
NingBo LongKang Intelligent Water Meter Company start the research on water-controlled substitute from 1999, received support from Italy Bermad Company in 2000 to open up DJY series water-controlled valve. More than that, the Large Caliber IC card intelligent water meter is opened up on the basis of that valve.
The company use the technique of isolation between card and stand to separate the stand from the table, so that the we can operate outside the meter working place, the company also imply the technique of portable machine on the large caliber water meter, achieve the communication between single-piece machine and double-piece machine, so that distant control through the LCD screen can be successful.

The large caliber IC card intelligent water meter opened up by NingBo LongKang Intelligent Water Meter Company has compact and coordinate structure. The products are reliable, stable, and they have a long life-span. The specials are:
• Use logical encryption, one password for each table, non-decipherable.
• Use stable hardware and software, solve interference and high power problem.
• Use import pith material, which make the battery work for over 5 years.
• Reliable current checking function, can set an automatically closure of valve when low power to cut the water circuit.
• The water meter solve the traditional valve leakage problem.
• When the sum of purchasing amount in card and the usable amount in meter exceeds the maximum amount, the meter will automatically reject the sum to avoid the stock up of water.
• When the usable amount equals alarming amount, the meter will be automatically switched off and alarmed, the user need to insert the user card to continue.
• When the usable amount in meter has used up, the meter will be automatically switched off and shown “clear bill”, “usable amount 0” and so on.
• When the current is too low, the meter will be automatically switched off and shown “change batteries”, the users must change batteries to switch on the meter again.
